Kids and the Coronavirus: how to keep them busy during this time at home

Create a routine

Having scheduled time for schooling, creative projects, physical activity and tech time early on is very important. Setting up a routine helps the entire household, because everybody knows what to expect. It is a great idea to allow your child to be involved in making the decisions as to the daily or weekly structure.

Once the routine is established, younger kids may need to have a large poster or white board to remind them of what’s happening that day. Older kids may be satisfied with a printed schedule on the fridge, or by using the calendar on their phone or tablet.
