Established in 2002 in Brooklyn, West Elm is focused on the intersection of modern design, affordability, and community. Everything west elm sells — from their sofas to bedding and vases is made with one goal: to help customers express their personal style at home and in the world.
By designing 90% of the west elm products in-house, the team has been able to increase the selection of organic, handcrafted, sustainably sourced and Fair Trade Certified products. Indeed, in 2014, west elm became the first US home retailer to carry Fair Trade Certified products. At the moment there are more than 90 west elm stores worldwide.
