This year schools closed two weeks earlier than planned. On the 18th of March, in reaction to the growing threat of Coronavirus, the government sent children home.
Many parents were happy to let their children have an early holiday as the government had said that the time would be made up later in the year. Now it appears that the time off school may be longer than initially anticipated. Some even believe that schools won’t reopen until the second half of the year.
Many parents are now seriously considering restarting the academic year at home. For some, taking on the task of teaching their children is a daunting prospect. However, help is at hand.
